Welcome to the site of the first in history of Ukraine festival «THE BEATLES FEST» !
In September, 2008 on the peninsula of Tarkhankut in Crimea there will take place the first international festival The BeatlesFest. A small resort town on the north-west coast of Crimea will be occupied with Beatlemania for three days. But there will be not only music.  Along the concert program guests will become witnesses and participants of many meetings, actions and contests. You can find out the details reading our site.

The founder of the festival is «Producing Centre of Peter Poltarev» , which already has conducted the first round of The BeatlesFest in 2008. Let me tell you how it started.
In 2007 the «FAB4» Group visited Ukraine with concerts. Its musicians are the only «official successors», or, as they name it - «licensed copy» of the famous group «The Beatles» in the world. So in England they annually conduct the festival of music of The BeatlesFest.
They spent two days socializing with producing centre and it was decided. We have to contribute to the development of Beatlemania in Ukraine. Since then the work was in full swing. We set connections within the whole world with foreign musicians and groups, performing «The Beatles» music in different interpretations. Among them there were quite a lot of world-wide famous stars. We searched admirers among fan-clubs, among the acknowledged and not acknowledged performers of jazz, popular, folk and even academic music. We found Beatles Fans not only among adults but also among children! So within the framework of «THE BEATLES FEST» a unique and unprecedented project was born - the National Youth Contest «YELLOW SUBMARINE» for the best performance of «The Beatles» music of in free style.
It is known fact that not everybody likes child's art. Not every ear is delighted by naivety of inexperienced performance. But «YELLOW SUBMARINE» surpassed all expectations and dismissed everything, all of the doubts. Children On the stage appeared on the stage, and one could record their performance on professional discs without a doubt. And then present them as a valuable creative works. And so we did. We recorded the winners of «YELLOW SUBMARINE» contest and, indeed, listeners were not only surprised, they simply didn't believe that the performers of THE BEATLES songs are very young musicians.
A competition started in the beginning of March, 2008 and finished on June, 14, 2008 with Gala-concert of winners. Maybe, it's an old trick, but organizers wanted the stage performance of young people to be heard by those, who need help: a practical, material, and, certainly, psychological help. There were 150 kids invited to the concert from orphanages and from poor families. And when the spectators gave a standing ovation after the gala-concert it was the best surprise of all for the performers. After that they were invited by Sir Paul McCartney for the one-to-one meeting. It was their fate that Sir Paul had his concert in Maydan on the same day. The unique and astonishing «Independence Concert »!

So, the children mat their star idol. Sir Paul agreed to become an Honorary President of «YELLOW SUBMARINE» !
